“I have had the privilege of listening to women’s stories for thirty years.
As a journalist, I heard about the emotional turmoil women experienced from social issues. I was inspired by their determination and vision to change their life stories.
For the past fifteen years, I have been a meditation teacher and sound healer. I create a safe space for women to explore their fears and loss so they begin to heal.
I bring together my professional writing experience and my passion for teaching meditation in my book, The Healing Ways of Women.”

The Healing Ways of Women inspires women to take the first step to start eroding their emotional walls. They need to free their voices to tell their stories of trauma and emotional turmoil, they have witnessed or experienced, often from childhood.
The book is a collection of deeply personal stories from women on healing journeys, including mind-body practitioners. They share how they healed their emotional walls and go on to guide and nurture other women on their journeys of personal and spiritual transformation.
Each story invites readers to take two small steps to soothe their souls, in the same way that the women in the stories took small steps to create change and start healing their hurt.
The stories cover a range of problems that women worldwide are facing – trapped in trauma from abuse or grief, being silenced by patriarchal attitudes, mothers and daughters disconnecting, and the heartache of mental illness in the family.
